Hi there,
We are Juan Pablo and David. We are originally from Venezuela and Argentina and have been living in Miami for more than 20 years. We met through our passion for sailing and have created Salty Miami Sailing to share the amazing experience of wind travel with others.
We have been sailing Biscayne Bay for more than a decade and have been lucky to explore many of its wonders over the years. From snorkeling spots to sandbars and Stiltsville, we are passionate about sharing Miami’s hidden gems with our guests.
When we are not sailing with guests, we are running a non-profit organization called F.O.C.U.S. Miami where our mission is to educate and clean-up the bay one-sail at a time with the help of our youth sailing club and summer program. So far, we have pulled out more than 1,000 gallons of trash from beaches, mangroves, sand bars, and the number keeps growing every week.
