Fly Fishing Charters and light-tackle, inshore fishing in St. John, Virgin Islands

Join Captain Dustin Harrison aboard our 20 foot Jones Brothers for a half day or full day of fly fishing and/or light-tackle, inshore fishing. Capt. Dustin has been fly fishing in St. John and in the Virgin Islands for many years, and has been a guide and captain for the past 10 years. He specializes in bonefish and tarpon on the fly, but you may catch other species as well, such as snook, jacks, bonita, barracudas or sharks.
You are welcome to bring your own fly rod(s), or you can use one of ours. We have top-quality rods by Sage, Orvis and TFO. We have fly reels by Tibor, Hatch, Sage, Fin-Nor and Orvis.
These rates are for chartering the boat. I can comfortably take a maximum of two adult passengers/anglers on board. I can take three passengers if at least one is a child.
All charters include rods, reels, flies (all the necessary tackle), bottled water, ice, fuel, etc. You just need to bring polarized sunglasses, and plenty of sunscreen! It’s important that you practice your casting before you come down here. If you’re a fresh water fly fisherman and have never fly fished in the salt, you’re going to need to be able to cast a minimum of 40 feet accurately. If you don’t know how to double-haul, you’ll want to learn. We are happy to help you with your casting, but you’ll have a more successful charter if you put in some practice time before you get here.
