Please read the following information carefully before completing the Private Group Tour Request Form.
Savannah Taste Experience and Private Group Tour Organizer will agree on all logistical information prior to the tour date. There is a lot of planning that goes into a tour and a lot of different people/stores/restaurants that have be coordinated with so that fresh tasty food will be ready at the right time to optimize everyone’s enjoyment. As a result, Savannah Taste Experience has a difficult time handling a lot of last minute changes and alterations to agreed upon logistics.
All private group food tours are 3 hours in length and cannot be shortened. Private group tours are the exact same experiences as the Public Tours only in a private setting. Why? Because we know our food tour that we provide to the public is nothing short of fantastic and because after all of the tinkering around with flavors, portion sizes, and locations we know we will be providing your group the best experience if we do it our way.
Private Group Tours must be a MINIMUM OF 10 PEOPLE.
Groups larger than 16 people will be split into smaller groups and staggered 30 minutes apart in order to optimize the experience of the guests and ensure that food orders are well controlled.
Weekend private tours are more difficult to book than Weekday private tours.
Savannah Taste Experience prides itself on providing a great tasting experience for persons of most dietary restrictions. As such we will try to accommodate any dietary restrictions of any individuals of your private group event.
Private Group Food Tours are held rain or shine.
Pricing and Reservations
Private Group Tour Tickets are sold at the same price as Public Tours, but a 5% discount is given to all groups larger than 12 people. A tour guide gratuity fee of 15% will be included in your total cost and provided directly to your tour guide(s). No refunds are given for no-shows or cancellations. Private Group Tour Tickets purchased less than 14 days from agreed tour date require full payment to hold a specific date, tour route and time. Private Group Tour tickets purchased more than 14 days from agreed tour date require a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total invoice paid via credit card to hold an agreed upon date, time slot(s), and tour guide(s). Final headcount and remaining balance (non-refundable) paid via credit card are due 5 business days prior to the event. Private Group Tours are NON-REFUNDABLE.

Speaking of the times, please be aware that as a result of the ongoing pandemic, the unexpected boom in local domestic tourism combined with the ongoing staffing struggles with the food and beverage industry coming back online you may experience beautiful and delicious picnics in the park.
