ABOUT:
Full day charters run for 8 hours. These trips go up to 10-30 miles offshore, mostly during the summer (Mahi-mahi are a migatory species and are constantly on the move.)
We start out our morning to catch live bait via cast net or sabiki rigs first and then head offshore looking for diving birds and floating debris.
Any signs of life that Mahi-mahi may be attracted to. We typically drag 2 to 6 lines while on the hunt, and then switch to light spinning tackle, using live or cut bait once we are on the school.
